I’ve started to miss the parking sensors so wondered if you can add these afterwards. The front bumper as the dummy sensors for the locations, and I’ve seen this which suggests part numbers for the front sensors, but when enquiring at my dealer they were quite dismissive of the idea! I don’t want the whole park pilot system, just the sensors.

This made the system to falsely perceive that the ground was some kind of obstacle. It beeped almost constantly when in low speeds.. The bumper comes off the car easily enough and the sensor loom undoes at the control box and is removed with the bumper. Slide the bumper back a few inches and there is a large rubber grommet by the rear lights where the loom feeds through. Remove the grommet and feed the loom out of the car.
